01 / Four steps

How it works.

Everything happens online, so you can learn from anywhere in the world.

  1. 01

Book a consultation or a lesson

Choose a time in the booking system. Use an email address you check often: your Zoom link will be sent there. If this is your first time, the free 15-minute consultation is the best place to start.

  2. 02

    Create a free Zoom account

Lessons take place on Zoom. Sign up for free and install the app on your computer, tablet, or phone before your first class.

  3. 03

    Join your class

At lesson time, open the email and click the Zoom link. Your classroom opens straight away. Need to change the time? You can reschedule a lesson yourself.

  4. 04

    Keep learning between lessons

After each class you receive interactive homework and free resources, and you can send questions any time. Support doesn’t stop when the lesson ends.

02 / What you get

More than a lesson.

An experienced teacher

A former university professor with a Columbia University MA in TESOL and 25 years of teaching.

A plan made for you

A customized learning plan with interactive digital homework that marks itself and saves your progress.

Free resources

Practice materials, vocabulary, and study guides to keep improving between classes.

Flexible scheduling

Book online and reschedule a lesson yourself when plans change.

03 / Before your first class

A quick checklist.

  • A steady internet connection. Wi-Fi or a cable connection works best.
  • Headphones with a microphone. They make speaking practice much clearer.
  • A quiet place. Somewhere you can speak out loud comfortably.
  • Zoom installed and tested. Join a few minutes early to check your sound and camera.
  • Your goals. A test date, a target score, or a skill you want to improve.
  • Any materials. School assignments, essays, or practice tests you would like help with.
